Brecon Jazz Festival 2025 – Capturing the Rhythm, the Vibes, and Maybe a Few Overzealous Shots
A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of photographing the Brecon Jazz Festival 2025. I spent Saturday soaking in the festival’s atmosphere, capturing the music, the energy, and all those little moments that make the event unforgettable. Meanwhile, I can only imagine other photographers were binge-watching TV, catching up on their “to-read” list, or finally folding that laundry they’ve been avoiding for weeks. Me? I never leave home without a camera—it’s basically a sixth sense at this point.
Festivals like Brecon are magical because they bring people together—musicians, audiences, and the wider community—all connected through the universal language of music. My goal isn’t just to document performances; it’s to capture the expressions, the movement, and the little details that tell the story of the day (yes, even the person air-saxing in the back row).
From energetic solos to candid audience reactions, every frame is a story. Photographing Brecon Jazz Festival is about celebrating music, community, and the occasional photographer-induced chaos of “must…take…one…more…shot.”
I’ve shared a curated selection of my favourite images from the festival in my gallery here: [insert link] 📸
If you’re an event organiser looking for photography that captures the energy, the moments, and maybe even the quirky characters in your crowd, I’d love to help bring it to life through my lens.
