Hi, I'm Kasia, a South Wales-based photographer and videographer helping businesses, places and people tell their stories through natural, authentic photography and video.

Based just outside Abergavenny, I work across Monmouthshire, South Wales, Cardiff, Newport and Bristol, as well as further afield across Wales. I work with businesses, holiday accommodation and tourism providers, event organisers, musicians, performers and private clients.

Whether I'm photographing a beautiful holiday cabin, filming a business story, documenting a workshop, capturing an event or photographing live music, my approach remains the same: I look for the story within the moment. I want my photographs and films to show not just what something looks like, but what it feels like to be there.

I'm particularly drawn to genuine moments, atmosphere and the little details that might otherwise go unnoticed. My style is relaxed, candid and quietly observant. I prefer to blend into the background and give people space to feel comfortable and be themselves. That's when the real moments happen: genuine smiles, conversations, interactions and connections that can't always be directed.

From 2020 to 2026, I was the resident photographer at Black Mountain Jazz in Abergavenny. Years of photographing talented musicians and constantly changing performances taught me to anticipate moments, work quickly and look for stories as they unfold. It also deepened my passion for documenting people, places and experiences in an authentic way, through both photography and video.

I enjoy working closely with clients, understanding what makes their business or project unique and creating photography and video that reflects it honestly. I like working from a clear brief so I can deliver exactly what a client needs, while also bringing my own ideas and suggestions to the project when I see an opportunity to add something different.

I'm naturally curious and I like keeping busy. I'm always learning something new, trying something different and finding another rabbit hole to disappear down. There is usually a good thriller somewhere nearby, and when I'm not taking photographs I'm often making something with my hands, from decoupage and mixed media to handmade cards.

I love gardening, walking and exploring Wales. Its landscapes, hidden gems and unexpected little details constantly catch my attention. My background in garden design probably has something to do with that. I notice plants, colours, textures and the way light falls across a place.

And yes, I'm guilty of taking photographs in my spare time. I take my camera with me almost everywhere, even when I'm just going shopping or out for a walk, because you never know when a good photograph might appear. I'm rather fond of chasing rainbows, arranging flowers and then photographing them, and experimenting with in-camera multiple exposures.

Fine-art photography is where my most creative side comes out. I never had the time or opportunity to learn how to paint or draw, so photography has become my way of expressing that creativity when the ideas start flowing.

So whether I'm photographing a business, a place, an event, a person or simply something that caught my eye, I'm always looking for the same thing: the story.
